Fulton County school board members have named new principals for Bethune Elementary and McNair Middle schools in south Fulton County.
Taylor Pratt, who has worked in Fulton schools for the past 12 years, is moving from his leadership role at Ison Springs Elementary to become principal of Bethune. He has served as Ison Springs’ assistant principal for the past three years, and before that he taught at Lake Forest Elementary and Hillside Elementary.
John Madden, who will take over as principal at McNair Middle, has 19 years experience as a teacher, coach and assistant principal. Madden has served as an assistant principal at Banneker High School and Woodland Middle School, and before that taught elementary and middle school in Clayton County.
Both Pratt and Madden officially begin their principal roles on July 1.
