University of Georgia students now have free access to Microsoft Office products. The full versions of the products can be downloaded and installed on up to five personal devices.

The products are available to any active UGA student. Faculty and staff can purchase a discounted four-year subscription to the Microsoft Office products that may be installed on two devices. After students leave UGA, they will have only read-only access to their Microsoft files until they purchase the software products.

The new, free Student Advantage program follows UGA’s move to Microsoft’s Office 365 email platform last year. The new service for students comes at no additional cost to the university.
