A community organization in DeKalb County will host two school board candidate forums prior to the May 20 non-partisan election.

The first forum, for districts two through four, is April 22, at Tull Auditorium at Emory University School of Law, 1301 Clifton Road, Atlanta. The second, for districts five through seven, is April 29, at Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur. Both are 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (There is only one candidate in the first district.)

Leadership DeKalb is hosting the events with proceeds from a $25,000 grant, from The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, for a voter education project called "It's For Them, DeKalb." Information: www.itsforthemdekalb.org.
