Cobb schools keep tabs on potential for snowy weather

Feb 8, 2016Cobb County school officials are monitoring the weather forecast of potential snow flurries in metro Atlanta but don’t have plans to release students early.
The school system is operating normally as of now, though officials say they’re keeping an eye on the weather.
While it won't exactly make for good sledding, snow is expected to fall Monday in metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News. It won't amount to much more than a dusting in the northern suburbs though.
The North Georgia mountains, however, could get at least 1 inch and up to 2 inches.
