A Cobb County high school is investigating racially offensive fliers posted inside the school, district officials said Wednesday.

The fliers found inside three Kell High School bathrooms involved a group “historically associated with racism and hate,” according to a message school officials sent to parents, which The Atlanta Journal-Constitution btained.

“Hate has no place in this school,” officials continued.

The message said officials identified the source of the fliers and took steps to prevent similar acts.

Cobb school district spokeswoman Donna Lowry said police determined it was not a criminal matter. It will be handled by the school as a student disciplinary matter, she said.
