Atlanta Superintendent Erroll Davis said Monday the city school system doesn’t plan to make up the days lost last week when snow and ice canceled school.

Davis said state law allows up to four days of emergency closings, and those days have now been used after schools closed for three days last week and one day at the beginning of January.

Davis also plans to review how the school system can strengthen its emergency response, and he asked parents students and community members to complete a survey telling the school system what it should do differently in the future.
