Metro Atlanta school districts are announcing plans to resume school Tuesday after fears of icy roads and bad driving weather cancelled classes Monday.

Among the first to announce plans is Clayton County Public Schools. The district sent out a release just after noon Monday saying it will resume a regular schedule Tuesday and that a school board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 9.

In a blog post updated Sunday, Atlanta superintendent Meria Carstarphen said Atlanta Public Schools students would return from winter break Tuesday.

Check back as more schools announce Tuesday schedules.
