Decatur High School still outperforms students across the country on the ACT test, but saw its average ACT score decrease between 2015 and 2016.
Officials on Wednesday released ACT test scores from the 2015-2016 school year.

Decatur High School students reported an average score of 22.8 in 2016, down from 23.6 in 2015. Students are tested in English, math, reading and science.
ACT’s national average for 2016 is 20.8. Georgia reported an average test score of 21.1.
