Large police presence at active shooter investigation in Midtown
Photos from the scene of an active shooter investigation in Midtown Atlanta show a massive police presence on West Peachtree Street.
Atlanta police have issued a shelter in place order while they investigate a report of an active shooter in Midtown. Multiple people have been injured, police confirmed. JOHN SPINK / AJC
The investigation is underway at Northside Hospital Midtown medical office building, where multiple people were confirmed shot. One person has been killed.
