Cory Favreau, 37, was charged with one count of manufacturing meth and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, the television station reported.

According to Plattsburgh police, Favreau called 911 Sunday morning, telling them he heard something in his attic and believed someone was in his house, WPTZ reported.

Officers checked Favreau’s home and did not find an intruder, but did find numerous items “consistent” with materials used to manufacture methamphetamine, Chief Levi Ritter told the television station.

A police narcotics unit and New York State Police, after obtaining a search warrant, said they found several items used to make meth, WPTZ reported.

Favreau was arraigned Monday morning in court and was remanded to the Clinton County Jail, the television station reported.
