Hundreds protested ICE arrests in Atlanta in February
In February, several organizations gathered along Buford Highway, the immigrant hub of metro Atlanta, to protest against recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests in Georgia. ICE began detaining undocumented immigrants in Chamblee and Brookhaven, as well as other parts of DeKalb and Gwinnett counties. ICE says it has made more than 6,000 arrests nationwide in cities, including Chicago, Los Angeles and New Orleans.
