A Texas man was arrested Monday morning after leading police on a chase in Houston with his wife and two young children inside the car, KTRK reported.
According to Houston police, officers attempted to pull the driver over for a traffic violation around 1 a.m., the television station reported.
The man drove away but arrived at a dead-end street, KTRK reported. The man left his car and ran, leaving his wife and children in the car, the television station reported.
Officers were able to catch the man. Police allowed the man’s wife to drive home with the children, a boy believed to be 2 or 3, and an infant girl, KTRK reported.
