Hall County interchange reopens; package not dangerous
An interchange on a Hall County interstate has reopened after being shut down around daybreak Friday while authorities investigated a suspicious package.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said the exit ramp from I-985 northbound to Spout Springs Road in Flowery Branch remained blocked just before 7 a.m., but the ramp had reopened by 7:30.
Flowery Branch Mayor Mike Miller said the package was determined not to be dangerous.
