A fundraiser is 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria at North Forsyth High School, 3635 Coal Mountain Road for Tony Hodgkins, a Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputy seriously injured in an accident last month. Hodgkins has served as a school resource officer there.

Guests will pay $5 for a spaghetti dinner and desert, hear live music and be able to bid on items in a silent auction.

Hodgkins was hit by a vehicle in late October while directing traffic in front of Coal Mountain Elementary School. Benefit organizer Amy Leggett says Hodgkins will recover, but will be out of work for two to three months. She says the fundraiser will help defray medical and living expenses.
