Former Georgia Tech basketball standout and NBA first-round draft pick Javaris Crittenton, one of more than a dozen people arrested Wednesday in a drug sting, waived his first court appearance Thursday.

“He will remain in the Fulton County Jail,” Fulton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said. “No bond.”

His next court appearance has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Feb. 14.

Crittenton, who was supposed to be on a 12-hour curfew while on bond awaiting a murder trial, is "accused of selling multi-kilo quantities of cocaine and several hundred pounds of marijuana during the seven month investigation dating back to June 2012," said Yvette Jones, spokeswoman for Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr.
