US Weekly has video footage of the 1984 Michael Jackson-Pepsi commercial accident online.

The never-before-seen video, filmed in L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 27, 1984, is less than two minutes long and shows two takes. During the first take everything went as planned.

“The pyrotechnics exploded as planned -- after Jackson descended the stairs and began performing with his brothers,” the video explains.

However, during the sixth the fireworks exploded too early.

“Things went horribly wrong,” states the video.

Jackson continues dancing until a group of stagehands converges on him to put the fire out. Jackson is then rushed back stage.
