The Braves 400 Fan Club will host its annual winter banquet and fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Century Hotel.

The theme is “Young Guns to Hall of Fame – Tom Glavine and John Smoltz.” A gala reception, silent auction and raffle of Braves memorabilia begins at 5 p.m., with the awards dinner and program following at 6:30 p.m.

Phil Niekro, Fredi Gonzalez and Leo Mazzone are among the early RSVPs. Braves broadcaster Jim Powell will emcee the program.

Awards for outstanding performances by Braves minor leaguers in 2015 will be presented to Mallex Smith, Tyrell Jenkins, Barrett Kleinknecht and Gwinnett Braves Manager Brian Snitker.

The 2015 Metro-Atlanta High School Player of the Year award will be presented to Tyler Stephenson from Kennesaw Mountain High School. Stephen Wrenn from the University of Georgia will receive the Jason Varitek Most Outstanding Scholar Athlete in Georgia award.

The Phil Niekro College Scholarships will be presented to Oglethorpe University and Young Harris College.
