South Carolina officials found family members of a Army veteran who died two weeks ago in a homeless shelter, WHNS reported.

According to the Lexington County coroner's office, James Clyde Hutchens Jr., 56, died Sept. 13 of natural causes, WTLX reported.

Hutchens was born Aug. 1, 1962. According to records, he lived in the Spartanburg area.

Originally, Coroner Margaret Fisher asked for help in finding Hutchens' relatives. But on Friday afternoon, the coroner's office posted on Facebook that Hutchens' family had been located, WHNS reported.

"Thank you for all of the helpful information that was shared with us. Family has been located,” the coroner’s office said on Facebook.
