A British teacher used an incredibly poignant medium to teach kids the powerful effects of bullying.
Rosie Dutton, who travels and speaks to school children, posted an image of two apples cut in half on her Facebook page, Relax Kids Tamworth. Along with the image was a powerful lesson.
In front of a classroom, she insulted and continuously dropped one apple on the ground to symbolize the effects of bullying.
On the outside it looked just like the apple that was not "bullied," but when split in two, "the apple we'd said unkind words to was bruised and all mushy inside."
She ended the original post with this prolific statement, "The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to break a heart. So be careful with your words."
