Metro Atlanta schools keeping eye on Hurricane Michael

North Georgia schools are monitoring the progress of Hurricane Michael but making no plans to close so far.

Metro Atlanta Schools, from Clayton to  Fulton County, are outside the the state of emergency zone declared by Gov. Nathan Deal.

If there are any changes to the forecast that could have an impact on metro Atlanta districts, we will share them on The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s new sites and social media.
