This month, Delone Catholic High School began requiring students to bring a picture of their gown for pre-approval.

School administrators defend the policy, saying the school has a responsibility to uphold catholic values and moral integrity.
"That's a big expense to be turned away at the door and we are trying to eliminate that difficulty,” said Principal Dr. Maureen Thiec
Students say the timing of the new policy isn’t fair, especially for those who’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on gowns that now need alterations to meet the dress code.
