A driver was ejected in a wreck that temporarily closed lanes of Interstate 20 westbound during the Thursday afternoon commute.

The wreck happened on I-20 at I-285 in DeKalb County around 4:20 p.m. and lanes were opened back up around 5:50 p.m.

One vehicle crashed and landed on its roof and the driver was ejected, according to DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish. She was not sure if there were other vehicles involved in the wreck. The driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition, Parish said.
