A Middle Georgia man was arrested Tuesday in Hogansville after a traffic stop turned into a drug bust, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Derrick A. Jackson, 34, of Columbus, was allegedly found with over 91.5 pounds of marijuana and about two pounds of cocaine in his vehicle, Channel 2 reported.

A Hogansville police officer pulled Jackson over on I-85 for an alleged suspended registration, and the officer also said Jackson’s license was suspended, Channel 2 reported.

Jackson is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine and for suspended license and registration, the news channel reported. He’s currently in the Troup County Jail.

An investigation is ongoing.
