Two men were arrested in Barrow County after they arranged to meet a 14-year-old for sex, authorities said.

Sheriff’s deputies had Khayyan Dickson, 50, of Conyers, on their radar for four months before he arranged the meetup and was arrested in Winder on Tuesday, Barrow sheriff’s spokesman Capt. Ryan Sears said. Harold “Wayne” Woodall, 71, of Winder, was under investigation for a month before his July 17 arrest.

Sears said Woodall was planning to exchange sex for money.

Both were arrested on a charge of criminal attempt to commit child molestation, according to police. Woodall was also charged with three counts of sex trafficking “for statements he made during the investigation,” Sears said.

Dozens more charges are expected to be taken against Woodall, according to Sears.

Both investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information about Woodall, Dixon or any other possible child exploitation case is asked to contact 770-307-3080, ext. 3013.
