Police in South Fulton are looking for a man who walked into a Family Dollar store in broad daylight and robbed it at gunpoint.
The robbery took place shortly before 2 p.m. Friday at the store in the 3400 block of Roosevelt Highway, according to a Crime Stoppers Facebook post.
Officials said the man pointed a gun at two employees and took money from the cash register. He then ran away, according to the post.
It’s one of several armed robberies at dollar stores being investigated across metro Atlanta, but it’s not clear if this suspect is connected to the earlier incidents.

The FBI is still seeking a man who is connected to 11 similar robberies in four different counties. The most recent, which happened at the Family Dollar on Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville, resulted in a shooting, AJC.com previously reported.
“After taking several weeks off, he has hit four more times and our worst fear has been realized,” FBI Atlanta spokesman Kevin Rowson said soon after the incident. “He fired shots in one of the latest robberies.”
The employee who was shot at was not hit, he said.
