A man died after he was shot at the College Park MARTA station Thursday, police said.

The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital shortly after the 5:30 p.m. shooting, MARTA spokeswoman Alisa Jackson said.

MARTA police did capture a suspect, but that person’s name has not been released, Jackson said.

No further information was available.
