Man charged with 2004 murder of Gwinnett woman

A man was jailed Sunday morning in connection with the stabbing death of a Gwinnett County woman in 2004.
Nicolas Herminio Reyes was booked into the Gwinnett jail at 12:14 a.m., according to official records.
He was wanted for more than 12 years in connection with the death of his 44-year-old girlfriend, Sadot Ozuna-Carmona.
Ozuna-Carmona was found dead Aug. 1, 2004, of an apparent stab wound to the neck, police said.
Her roommate found her at their apartment at 503 Amber Drive in Norcross.
Other people around the apartment told investigators there had been a birthday party the night before that had gone on until the early morning.
Witnesses saw Ozuna-Carmona arguing with her intoxicated boyfriend, police said. None of the witnesses could recall having seen Ozuna-Carmona after 1 a.m.
Reyes was in the jail awaiting a first appearance hearing Sunday morning.
