Clayton County authorities have a man in custody they believe shot a semiautomatic weapon out of a moving car and took a Snapchat video to document it.
Jonathan Marin, dubbed the “Snapchat shooter viral video maker” in an alert, was one of two men authorities said were shown firing several shots while driving along a dark road.
Police opened an investigation once the video was uploaded to the app using a Clayton County filter, and it went viral.

Marin turned himself in to the county jail Monday morning, a Clayton sheriff’s spokesman said in a public advisory. He was wanted for a probation violation, but the spokesman said more charges are expected once investigators determine where the shots were fired.
The second man, Edgar Reeves, is wanted for questioning.

Police are asking area residents to check their property for bullet holes and to report any injuries that may have resulted from the random gunfire.
