A Gwinnett County woman was behind bars Thursday on charges of credit card fraud, and authorities believe she may have victimized more than 100 card holders.

Mary Ann Boutdy, 31, faces multiple charges, including financial identity theft and theft by receiving, after Lawrenceville police said she used one of the cards to pay a city utility bill, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Lawrenceville police Detective Darya Smith told Channel 2 police searched Boutdy’s home and found a notebook full of credit card and Social Security numbers, names and dates of birth.

Many of the card numbers may have been obtained from a website managed overseas, Smith said.

“Looking at the text messages on her phone, I have determined she had gotten them out of a website out of Russia,” the detective said, adding that the site is a clearinghouse for stolen personal information.

Boutdy was being held Thursday in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond. Police said their investigation is continuing.
