Police in Alpharetta said a teenager was forced to strip and beaten with his own belt after backing out of a drug deal last month.

One suspect, 17-year-old Michael Evans, has been arrested in the alleged attack, and police are searching for a second person they believe was involved.

The victim told police he went to a playground near the Saddle Creek Apartments on Oct. 23 to buy some marijuana, Channel 2 Action News reported.

But when he backed out, two people attacked him, according to the news station.

“The victim's friend, who was scared, fled the area. The two suspects continued to beat the victim, actually knocked him unconscious,” Alpharetta police spokesman Officer Howard Miller told Channel 2.

The suspects stripped the teen of all of his clothes, took his belt off and beat him with it, Miller said.

He later ran naked to a nearby apartment and asked that the woman inside let him in and help, Channel 2 reported. She told the news station that he had bruises on his face, a busted lip and a scared look on his face.

Evans was later arrested and charged with robbery and aggravated assault, police said. He attended Milton High School.
