The man killed in an apparent drive-by triple shooting was a 30-year-old from Cherokee County, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said Wednesday.

Angel J. Perez-Martinez, of Woodstock, died and two others were injured in the Tuesday night shooting in southwest Atlanta.

The shootings happened shortly before 9 p.m. in the 800 block of Lee Street outside a lounge called the Dirty Ryderz MC Clubhouse, Atlanta police said. The three people shot were part of a larger group of people in the parking lot of the club, according to Capt. Paul Guerrucci. It was not known late Tuesday if the three shooting victims were patrons at the club.

Perez-Martinez died at the scene. A woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition after being shot in the lower extremities, Guerrucci said. A third victim, a man, was treated at the scene for a minor gunshot wound to the arm.

“We have not established a motive for this incident thus far,” Guerrucci said. “But we are asking if anybody has any information, specifically regarding a shooting that may have occurred in this area and any cars speeding off, please contact police or Crime Stoppers.”

Witnesses told police the car involved may have been silver or gray in color, but no further description was available, Guerrucci said. At least two people were inside the car, he said.

Investigators were on the scene for several hours late Tuesday. No further details were available Wednesday.
