Is the government shutdown driving you to drink?

A new website urges you to do it - down a bit of liquid courage, then call and give Congress a piece of your mind.

DrunkDialCongress.org is the brainchild of a digital-marketing group called Revolution Messaging. It lets you enter your mobile phone number and get connected to a random lawmaker’s office to unload your thoughts about the shutdown.

The site is targeting furloughed workers or frustrated constituents fed up with the two-week long shutdown that has impacted everything from national parks to Headstart program funding to veterans benefits.

Not quite sure what to say? The website includes talking points, such as “You jerks are costing the country $12 million bucks per hour!” Not sure what to drink? The website thought of that too, and has included five drink recipes.

Here's the website: DrunkDialCongress.org. Here's some incentive: Congress is still getting paid during this shutdown.
