Saturday’s Powerball jackpot has jumped to $196 million, lottery officials said Friday.

The jackpot has rolled over nine times since June 26.

Powerball offers two jackpot payment options: the $196 million annuity prize paid over 29 years in 30 graduated payments; or the cash option of about $113 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play and can be purchased until 10 p.m. on drawing day.

The overall odds of winning any prize are one in 32, and the odds of claiming the big jackpot are one in 175 million.
