Police locate teen with Asperger’s syndrome

Police have located a a Stockbridge teen missing since early this morning.

Julia Palmer, 16, was found on Bouldercrest Road in Clayton County more than 5 miles away from her home, a Henry County police spokesman said. She was observed by a passerby who contacted 911.

Police said the teen suffers from a form of Asperger’s syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism. She was taken to Piedmont Hospital for observation but her injuries are minor.
