Police: S. Fulton toddler fall an accident
The 18-month-old girl who fell from a Fulton County home’s second-story window is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The fall is being considered an accident, and Fulton County Police spokesman Lt. Scott McBride told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the child’s mother, Regina Sterling, is not being charged at this time.
The girl, whose name was not released, fell at a home on Bowhead Court, off Old Jonesboro Road, McBride said.
The child was taken by helicopter to Thursday afternoon to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, McBride said.
“They are hoping to release her in a few days,” he said.
