Two passengers involved in an alleged DUI crash that killed a 17-year-old earlier this month have been arrested, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Within minutes of leaving a party early June 1, a Dodge Ram pickup truck carrying five teenagers hit a telephone pole, ejecting and killing Paul Louis Castell Jr., a high school student, according to the sheriff's office. The truck's driver, Adam Robert Joseph Di Millo, and the party host, Jeremiah Luke Funke, were arrested in the days after the crash.

Two other surviving passengers have now been charged, Deputy Robin Regan said. Delton Cook, 18, of Cumming, and John Fulkerson, 17, of Cumming, have each been charged with reckless conduct and possession/consumption of alcohol by persons under 21, Regan said.

Fulkerson turned himself in Friday night and Cook turned himself in Saturday morning, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Both posted bond Saturday and were released.

Di Millo was previously charged with vehicular homicide and DUI. More charges were added for Di Millo, including reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane, seat belt violation and two counts of violation of Class D license restrictions, Regan said.

With a Class D license, Di Millo was prohibited from driving between midnight and 6 a.m. and from having passengers under 21 who were not relatives within six months of getting the license, according to police. Investigators also do not believe Castell was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Funke was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, consumption of alcohol by a minor and maintaining a disorderly house, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation.
