Testimony in the Atlanta Public Schools cheating trial was cut short Thursday because one of the jurors had a medical emergency.

“It has to do with a pregnancy,” Judge Jerry Baxter told attorneys in the case. “It’s important that this person go to a doctor. It’s not like someone had a heart attack.”

There is routinely no court on Fridays so testimony will resume Monday.
