Johns Creek woman dies in single-car crash

A Johns Creek woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Ga. Hwy. 400 in Forsyth County Monday night.

Eden Sara Hersh, 50, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 400, just north of the McFarland Boulevard exit, around 8:15 p.m. when the Honda Pilot she was driving left the roadway and struck a concrete pole, according to Deputy Mike Nelson, of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Traffic Specialist Unit.

Hersh died from the injuries she sustained in the collision shortly after she was transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Nelson said. Hersh was alone in the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved. No charges will be filed in the case, Nelson said.
