A Cobb County mother took out a multi-million dollar suit against a professional photographer after an indecent photo of her 15-year-old daughter was published on the photographer’s website where it shows her having a wardrobe malfunction, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The photo was from a Cobb high school dance in September, but it wasn’t until January that the mother said she found it online on the photograph’s website and available for purchase, Channel 2 reported.

“It was devastating,” the mother told Channel 2. “No mother wants to see their daughter exposed on the internet.”

Her daughter didn’t realize part of her dress slid down, leaving her exposed, the news station reported.

The photograph was on the website of Cady Studios Photography, which has locations in Acworth, Dacula and Johns Creek, Channel 2 reported.

The family’s attorney told Channel 2 that a manager emailed an apology, which said: “I am horrified that this even happened. Please know I am addressing with our team immediately. We have a process of three people to review photos prior to posting; however, we are investigating where the breakdown happened.”

The company said it has removed the photo from the website, Channel 2 reported.

The school system did not respond to Channel 2’s inquiry for comment.
