Brother of shooting victim charged with murder
The brother of a man shot and killed in southwest Atlanta on Thursday morning has been charged in connection with his death, police said.
Brandon Pittman, 31, was arrested on a murder charge after police found the body of his brother in an apartment at the Donnelly Gardens complex in the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue about 8:15 a.m.
The victim, who police said lived in the apartment and has not been identified, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.
Police have not released a motive in the deadly shooting.
