Coolness is in this week’s forecast.

Following a partly cloudy Sunday with highs in the low 90s, rain is likely on the way in the coming week.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Jennifer Lopez said the high for Monday will stay in the lower 90s with a low in the lower 70s, and to be on the lookout for scattered storms.

Tuesday is predicted to be cooler with a low also in the low-70s but with highs only rising to the mid-80s. Lopez predicts mostly cloudy with a high chance of rain.

The National Weather Service said to expect the cooler weather to continue throughout the week with highs staying in the mid to lower 80s and a low chance of rain Wednesday to Saturday.
