Three people were injured Thursday after a multivehicle crash on I-20 West in Conyers, according to police.

One person was taken to an Atlanta trauma center with severe injuries, Conyers police Capt. Kim Lucas said. The conditions of the others injured in the crash have not been released.

According to Lucas, a total of three vehicles and one motorcycle were involved in the wreck, which occurred west of Ga. 138 about 11 a.m.

The investigation blocked most lanes at times, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. Westbound traffic started moving again just before 1:30 p.m., but there are heavy eastbound delays due to a separate crash involving four vehicles.

While lanes reopened just before 1:40 p.m., drivers still need to take alternate routes. Iris Drive is a good one to get around the delays, the Traffic Center reported.
