The paws have been counted, and Piedmont Dog Park (Intown) is our first place winner as a haven for dogs and humans alike. Since 2002, this special off-leash area is one of the most popular features of Piedmont Park.

Newtown Dream Dog Park in Johns Creek is our second place winner. This fenced-in, one-acre green space features artificial turf, sprinklers, obstacles and separated areas for large and small dogs. At Newtown Dream Dog Park, you can sit comfortably on a bench in the shade as your pup burns off that extra energy or join in on the fun with your best Frisbee toss. Chattapoochee Dog Park (Gwinnett), which opened in 2012, snags the third place spot. The dog park has welcomed hundreds of furry friends over the last six years. It's one of Gwinnett's most popular dog parks, offering designated areas for large and small dog, water stations and benches.
