VOTING CLOSED: Who has the best pasta in Atlanta? | Best of Atlanta

Do you prefer linguine or spaghetti? Rigatoni or ravioli? When your carb craving kicks in, where do you go?

Study Says Pasta Could Help You Lose Weight

Pasta is that catchall word that could mean spaghetti or rigatoni, penne or linguine. You can top it with red sauce or alfredo, olive oil or pesto.

The noodles you'll find at some of Atlanta's most popular Italian restaurants "are almost always handmade, using flour, eggs and a lot of love," Bob Townsend wrote for the AJC Dining Guide: The Noodle Edition.

Pasta is a dish that can easily and affordably be made at home, but can also be found at most restaurants in metro Atlanta.

When you go out for pasta, where is your favorite place? This week’s Best of Atlanta poll asks: Who has the best pasta in Atlanta?

We’re not including ramen or Asian noodles here. That was last week’s poll.

Don't see your favorite pasta joint on our list? Submit a write-in nominee by emailing your pick to nancy.clanton@ajc.com. If enough people suggest your favorite, we'll add it to our poll.

If you need to do some research before voting, check out the Italian noodles from these metro Atlanta restaurants.

If your tastes lean toward something else, however, don’t fret. Best of Atlanta has plenty of options to keep you exploring the food scene all year.
