Southeast Atlanta voters will get a chance on Tuesday to learn more about school board candidates seeking to represent their neighborhoods.

The group Southeast Atlanta Communities for Schools will host a virtual forum for candidates running for seats on the Atlanta Board of Education. The forum will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The group, which advocates on behalf of APS schools that feed into Maynard Jackson High School, invited candidates seeking to represent school board districts 1 and 3 as well as at-large seats 7, 8 and 9.

Those wishing to watch the event can register online.

All nine seats on the Atlanta school board are up for election on Nov. 2.
