Fulton County Schools is continuing staff recruitment efforts with a job fair aimed at hiring food service workers and custodians.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 2 at 10700 Crabapple Road in Roswell.

The opportunity is the latest in a string of fast-track hiring events held by the district to make it easy to walk away with a job.

Fulton is offering sign-on bonuses of up to $500 for custodians and $1,000 for food service workers.

School districts across metro Atlanta and the nation have reported difficulties in filling such positions. Those interested in applying for a Fulton job can register online to attend the event.

The district plans to hold another event to recruit bus drivers and transportation assistants from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 6 at its North Transportation Center in Alpharetta.
