Fulton County Schools will hold a job fair Saturday to hire food service workers, bus drivers and transportation assistants.

The “quick-track” hiring event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the district’s North Transportation Center at 410 South Main St. in Alpharetta. Prospective employees are asked to register online before the job fair and bring their driver’s license to complete a required background check.

Fulton, like other districts around the metro Atlanta region and nation, is trying to fill vacancies in transportation and nutrition departments.

The district said it is offering a $1,000 signing bonus to food service workers hired this month.
