Snow in metro Atlanta: Plane overruns runway at PDK airport

A plane attempting to land at DeKalb Peachtree airport slid past the runway and got stuck in mud, according to a spokesman for the DeKalb County Fire Department.

It wasn't immediately known whether the snowfall caused the crash. Both people aboard the plane were unharmed, Capt. Eric Jackson said.

Jackson said a crane will be needed to remove the plane from the crash site.
