Downtown Connector accident: Lanes reopen, but backups remain

Expect delays if you're headed downtown, metro Atlanta.

All northbound lanes of the Downtown Connector have reopened following a multi-vehicle accident before 10th Street, but traffic just after 9 a.m. is still backed up several miles to Langford Parkway.

For a period Tuesday morning, the accident involving at least three vehicles blocked four of the seven northbound lanes, according to the Georgia Department Transportation website .

No other details were immediately available.
