I-285 Crash: Crews still working to remove wreckage

BRANT SANDERLIN/BSANDERLIN@AJC.COM
Crews are working to remove the wreckage of two trucks that tumbled from I-285 onto Ga. 400 in Sandy Springs. They are trying to move the wreckage off the road so that lanes can reopen. Work to clear the wreckage altogether is expected to continue into the night.
Firefighters were able to free both drivers from the truck cabs. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. A driver in a vehicle traveling under the I-285 overpass at the time of the wreck also had non-life threatening injuries.
